Salford Zine Library

 

Yesterday, Craig from The Salford Zine Library and cameraman Luca came to my house for a brew and a chat about self publishing. The interview will be featured in a documentary showing at The Salford Museum and Art Gallery (15/10/10 - 29/01/12) Also there will be millions of zines and artists books to look at. Including a couple of mine. Come along and watch me waffle on...

The Reading Room on Lytham St Annes Pier

On this Bank Holiday Sunday (28th August) Sophie Lee, Libby and I set up a little Reading Room on the pier at Lytham St Annes...Artist books held down with stones, the yellow armchair, sandwiches and sand castles. Lot's of weekenders 'pier-ing' in, reading and asking questions...Mostly, 'What the 'eck are ye doin?' All in all an interesting intervention. More soon.

My fellow Parlour Pressess, Mandi Goodier is setting up a little Reading Room at The Kenton Public House, Hackney, London on Wednesday 24th August...We will be there with some new books and paper ephemera so pop down if you're about, grab a pint and have a peruse! Starts at 4pm til late...
